Head to your nearest Bucherer for these exquisite timepieces offering tradition, innovation, and watchmaking craft at its finest

Bucherer, one of the world’s oldest and most esteemed watch retailers, now owned by Rolex, has long been a leader in the industry, and for a few years, offers its customers exclusive access to limited-edition timepieces created in collaboration with renowned partner brands. For years, collectors and enthusiasts have enjoyed unique adaptations of existing models, often distinguished by signature blue tones under the Bucherer BLUE collection. However, last year marked a departure from tradition by introducing an amber-toned trio from H. Moser & Cie.
This year, Bucherer Exclusive continues with three remarkable timepieces from Chopard, Girard-Perregaux and Ulysse Nardin. Unlike previous editions, these watches are not united by colour but by their exceptional craftsmanship and mastery of haute horlogerie.
Bucherer Exclusive Chopard L.U.C Strike One
The elegant case of the Bucherer Exclusive L.U.C. Strike One is crafted from ethical Lucent Steel, Chopard’s proprietary alloy with some exceptional qualities, it measures 40mm in diameter and 9,86mm thick. The use of Lucent Steel makes this Bucherer edition stand out, as it is one of the rare occasions that it has been used for the L.U.C. Strike One casing (the only other one was a salmon version for Art in Time Monaco). The case has a vertical-brushed caseband while its bezel and caseback are polished, and the large, 7.8mm crown with an integrated pusher is adorned with the L.U.C logo.
The dial of the Bucherer Exclusive L.U.C Strike One is made from ethical 18k white gold and finished with a light blue PVD treatment. A hand-guilloché honeycomb medallion at its centre adds depth and texture, while the surrounding chapter ring features snailed concentric circles and applied rhodium-plated indices. These indices follow a refined herringbone pattern, except at 8 o’clock, where a diamond baguette marks the hour. The minute track is printed directly onto the inner surface of the crystal. A cut-out between 12 and 1 o’clock reveals the striking hammer—part of the watch’s patented monobloc sapphire crystal and gong system. At 6 o’clock, a snailed subdial with a rhodium-plated baton-style hand indicates the running seconds.
Time is indicated by dauphine fusée-style hands. At 12 o’clock, beneath the double index, an aperture reveals the chime/silence mode indicator, which is operated via the crown’s pusher. The Bucherer Exclusive Chopard L.U.C Strike One is powered by the same exceptional movement found in Chopard’s regular L.U.C Strike One series – the self-winding, COSC-certified L.U.C 96.32-L calibre, equipped with a gold micro-rotor and based on an emblematic movement. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it boasts a 65-hour power reserve sustained by its twin-barrel construction.
The movement is impeccably decorated, bearing the prestigious Poinçon de Genève hallmark, and exemplifies Chopard’s commitment to haute horlogerie. The Bucherer Exclusive L.U.C Strike One is offered on a grey alligator leather strap, with an additional grey calf leather strap included for versatility. The watch is a limited edition of 8 pieces, costing EUR 72,800.

Bucherer Exclusive Girard-Perregaux Laureato Tourbillon
For its special 2025 series, Bucherer has selected a Laureato timepiece that, while no longer part of the current catalogue, remains unmistakably Girard-Perregaux and exemplifies the brand’s meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail – the Laureato Tourbillon in titanium. Originally released in 2018 with a striking light blue Clous de Paris dial, this model now returns in an exclusive Bucherer edition.
The Bucherer Exclusive Laureato Tourbillon features an anthracite grey dial with the same intricate pattern, maintaining the elegance and specifications of the original while offering a surprisingly fresh aesthetic. It is housed in a 43mm x 11.36mm titanium case with the signature octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet, finished with a refined combination of polished and satin-brushed surfaces. The 30m water-resistant case is topped with a sapphire crystal featuring anti-reflective treatment; on the reverse, an exhibition caseback offers a view of the in-house GP9510 calibre – a self-winding movement powered by a micro-rotor, built with 33 jewels and operating at 21,600 vibrations/hour.
The monochromatic dial featuring sword-shaped hands and applied, PVD-treated pointed baton-style indices with luminous coating perfectly complement the titanium case. The Girard-Perregaux logo sits at 12 o’clock, while the lower half of the dial is dominated by the aperture for the tourbillon, held in place by the brand’s signature arrow-shaped bridge. The Bucherer Exclusive Girard-Perregaux Laureato Tourbillon is limited to 8 pieces, and the price is EUR 123,000.

Bucherer Exclusive Ulysse Nardin Freak X Enamel
The third timepiece in this exclusive series is a bold and vibrant creation from Ulysse Nardin – a 43mm × 13.78mm titanium Freak X with a striking green mainplate that also serves as the hour disc. The mainplate, adorned with a wave-like guilloché pattern, is coated in multiple layers of enamel – a design reminiscent of last year’s Freak X Enamel in blue, which was released to celebrate the brand’s partnership with Middle Eastern retailer Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons. The key difference? This edition swaps blue for a vivid green while retaining all the signature elements that have defined the Freak X since its debut in 2019.
At its heart is Ulysse Nardin’s UN 230 movement with the signature flying carousel, featuring a silicon escapement, a large silicon balance wheel with nickel flyweights, and stabilizing micro blades. The central bridge acts as the minute hand and a marker attached to the decorated mainplate indicates the hour. The hour indices, five-minute markers on the flange, the minute-indicating bridge and the hour marker—are all coated in white Super-LumiNova, ensuring a luminous display that matches the Freak X’s avant-garde spirit. Bucherer Exclusive Ulysse Nardin Freak X Enamel is limited to 18 pieces; the price is EUR 41,100.
Quick Facts – 43mm diameter x 13.78mm thick – titanium case, brushed and polished – sapphire crystal glassbox front – exhibition caseback – 50m water resistant – green enamel mainplate with guilloché pattern – calibre UN-230, in-house – automatic – open flying carousel baguette-shaped movement rotating on its axis – exclusive central oscillator with large diameter – 21,600 vph – silicium balance wheel and escapement – 72-hour power reserve– black calfskin strap with green details, closed with a folding buckle in titanium – limited to 18 pieces – EUR 41,100.

I might be wrong but I believe lucent steel was also used in the limited edition of 8 pieces issued by the Art of Time in Monte Carlo in 2024. The dial colour was in salmon.
That Chopard is a beauty
@Shamsudin Mustafa Yes absolutely, and they call this journalism. Oh by the way, the previous steel version you’re talking about was annonced 7 months ago, and costed 58k€ instead of 72k€ for this one. Steel price I guess…
@Shamsudin Mustafa @ Steve Please accept my sincere apologies. As the writer of this post, I overlooked the previous limited edition of Strike One in Lucent Steel and relied solely on readily available information. That said, it’s truly gratifying to know that knowledgeable readers engage with my work—I’m always learning from you.
